Omoda and Jaecoo — Chery's subsidiary brands — plan to increase their share in the Russian market, as stated by Vladimir Stoyakin, director of brands in Russia.

He noted that by the end of April, Omoda and Jaecoo together accounted for 4.8% of total new passenger car sales, but the brands are set to reach a 6% share in the near future.

New models that brands will present in Russia this year should help with this. Among them, models with a traditional power plant, as well as electric vehicles and hybrids are expected.
