Obninsk Research and Production Enterprise «Technology» successfully passed an audit of the production of components for short-haul airliners SJ-100. The company will be able to mass-produce 10 glazing elements and 38 components made of polymer composite materials for the PD-8 engine, which will be installed in the imported version of the SJ-100. Let us remind you that it was previously assumed that Russian airlines would receive the first fully domestic SJ-100 by the end of the year, but recently it became known that the delivery dates have been shifted to 2025–2026.
During the inspection, auditors assessed production processes, product quality, interaction with consumers and a number of other parameters. This allowed us to confirm that the company produces products that fully comply with the criteria of Aviation Regulations SJ-100 as part of type certification.
ONPP «Technology» — This is the only manufacturer in Russia that mass-produces sound-absorbing structures, break-in panels and other products for PD-8. In addition, the company has developed a technology for the production of components from domestic materials for the engine and mass-produces aluminum and polymer honeycomb cores. Also «Technology» produces domestic glazing for SJ-100 flight decks and protection for external lighting equipment.
