They can improve texts, generate images directly in the interface and retell foreign videos in Russian

Yandex announced that it has built a new generation of neural networks into its browser. The developers note that with the help of «neurobrowser» users will be able to improve their texts and generate images directly in its interface. Translating videos from eight foreign languages into Russian, retelling them and creating subtitles is also available, in addition, the browser has received an updated design.

The YandexGPT neural network will help users write comments, letters, reviews and other messages. To do this, you need to select a fragment and select the «Help with text» function. It works in three modes: «Correct errors», «Reduce» and «Improve style». In addition, the neural networks of «Yandex Browser» learned to translate videos from Japanese and Korean into Russian and add voiceovers. Previously, this feature was only available for English, Chinese, French, Spanish, Italian and German.

Also «neurobrowser» can now briefly retell foreign-language videos in Russian using YandexGPT and generate subtitles for Russian-language videos in real time, visually separating the remarks of different speakers. And with the help of the YandexART neural network, users can create images: to do this, you need to contact «Alice» and describe in text or voice what you want to see in the picture. This mode of operation is called «Let's draw».

The function of checking sites for phishing is now built directly into «Yandex Browser». If it notices signs of danger, it launches a comprehensive scan on Yandex servers, which takes less than 0.01 seconds. Neural network functions of «Yandex Browser» activated using compact menus — they automatically appear next to the content where they can be applied, and if the feature affects the entire page, the menu will appear next to the address bar.
