Telecommunications company BT issued a public apology to its subscribers who were connected to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate without their knowledge.
People complain that their monthly bills have increased by 10 pounds since at least October last year, but, apparently, no one is in a hurry to solve the problem on the part of BT and Microsoft.
“We encourage all our customers to remain vigilant and if they notice any suspicious changes to their account, contact us as soon as possible to report it.”, advises BT.
At the same time, BT did not report why its subscribers generally find themselves connected to the Microsoft service without their knowledge.
One of the subscribers said that he did not even know that he was an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber until he saw a letter in his email inbox from Microsoft thanking him for subscription activation. The support service told the subscriber that this problem is on the part of BT and Microsoft itself.
