HMD, the parent company of Nokia, recently launched three new entry-level smartphones: Pulse, Pulse+ and Pulse Pro. The Pulse series is equipped with Unisoc T606 SoC. Now the company is working on a more powerful smartphone.

The new HMD phone, codenamed Tomcat, has appeared in the Geekbench benchmark database, scoring 965 points in single-core and 2625 points in multi-core mode. The listing states that this is an eight-core platform, which includes 4 performance and 4 energy-efficient cores with a frequency of 2.4 GHz and 1.96 GHz.

Although the name of the chipset is not mentioned, the above parameters correspond to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. The single-core and multi-core results are also similar to the alleged chipset. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 features four Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores. In terms of graphics, it is equipped with Adreno 710 GPU.
