KAMAZ has revealed the exact number of fifth-generation flagship trucks assembled in 2023 — «KAMAZ-54901». Their production volume was 5138 units. The production plan for 2024 is three times larger — The plant is going to produce 15 thousand KamAZ «K5». The head of KamAZ, Sergei Kogogin, spoke about this in an interview with Vedomosti.

The overall production plan for 2024 is larger: a total of about 45 thousand cars are planned to be produced. Among them will be trucks of the outdated «K3» family: according to the top manager, KamAZ «K3» are still relevant for many consumers.
