In total, almost 100 thousand new cars were sold in Russia last month
The Ministry of Industry and Trade published its statistics on sales of new cars in Russia in January 2024. According to the department, 95,642 new cars were sold in the country last year, which is 53% more than what was sold in January 2023.
New passenger cars accounted for 79 976 copies. 7,441 units of new trucks were sold, new buses — 1171 units. Sales of electric vehicles amounted to 1,617 units.
The model rating of passenger cars has also been published. The top 5 most popular cars among Russians for January 2024 look like this: Lada Granta — 9797 cars, Lada Vesta — 5396 vehicles, Haval Jolion — 4345 cars, Geely Monjaro — 3471 cars, Lada 4×4 (Niva Legend) — 3315 cars.
