KamAZ began producing new trucks of the flagship K5 family, they will compete with the heavy “Chinese”

These are dump trucks with three and four axles

According to Quto.ru, KamAZ has launched a pilot assembly of new truck models of the flagship K5 line – These are three-axle dump trucks 6595 and 65952 and four-axle 65951. Although experimental production, it is mass-produced: trucks are produced in batches.

The first copy of KamAZ-6595 was presented in the fall of 2023 – and sent for factory testing. Therefore, the tests are now over. The KamAZ-6595 has a 6×4 wheel arrangement, a body volume of 20 m3 and a 13-liter KamAZ-910 engine with a power of 460 hp. The permissible gross weight of the truck is 41 tons.

New KamAZ models should compete with heavy «Chinese» from Sitrak, Shacman and FAW.
