Governor of the Samara region Dmitry Azarov switched to a brand new Lada Aura. He reported this on his page on VKontakte. «I've been driving for a week, great car», – wrote Dmitry Azarov and attached a photo of the car in black.
At the moment, Lada Aura is not yet mass produced, so this is still a rare case of daily use of the car. It is expected that the Aura series will be launched in September of this year, and not only officials, but also ordinary people will be able to buy the car. Moreover, there is even a taxi version available.
Lada Aura will receive the top units that AvtoVAZ currently has: a 1.8 EVO engine and a CVT transmission. It differs from the Lada Vesta Aura by a body stretched by approximately 25 cm, improved sound insulation and finishing.
As for Dmitry Azarov, Aura – not his first Lada. Previously, he purchased a Lada Vesta Sport, and did so on the day of the official start of sales of the model.
