The release of the domestic “Troubles” is approaching. It looks like someone managed to gain access to the game a little earlier than expected
On April 4, 2024, they plan to release the domestic action-RPG “Troubles,” and the developers recently presented a demo version. Soon gamers noticed that a “complete build of the game” appeared on a specific resource.
At first, many decided that this was a banal re-upload of the demo version. However, some took the risk of getting to know each other better and reported that we were talking about a full-fledged version of “The Troubles.” moment from that leak that happened last year. It also lags less than the demo. The build is working, I ran for a couple of hours, there is surprisingly less cringe (no) than in the demo.”
The demo raised some questions about optimization, Seryozha writes the following about this build:
“This build is apparently from another time branch, where the game came out mediocre and will be completed with patches. On my rather weak system with a 3060, this version works quite well with DSS enabled. At 2k it produces from 30 to 60 frames with small stutters in very congested locations. I failed at the textures exactly once in 4 hours of play, but autosaving saved me. The lighting only works when the lumen is turned on, it eats up moderate performance, but the picture in some places becomes simply awesome.”
The voice acting was also criticized in the “Troubles” demo. According to Seryozha: there are “exorbitantly many” dialogues in the game, but at the same time “The voice acting is almost without cringe (unlike the demo).”
Regarding the combat system, he said the following :
“Calling in place. Yes, they tried to diversify it so that from time to time you may get hit in the face, but this can be solved by rebounding and firing a pistol. Combat level of the Witcher game version 0.0.001. But thank you that not the whole game consists of dialogues.” The player noted that this version contains blood.
“The Troubles” will be released on PC on the VK Play service, the developers are accepting pre-orders and offering to buy the game at a discount (it will be valid until release).
Something similar happened with Atomic Heart: then players looked at the old build, and then went to buy the current version of the game.
