Intel increased revenue and reduced losses. The company reported for the first quarter of 2024

Revenue increased by 9%

Intel reported for the first quarter of the 2024 fiscal year. 

Revenue for the reporting period amounted to $12.7 billion, which is 9% more than a year earlier. At the same time, if a year ago the net loss was $2.8 billion, now it is only 437 million  

If we look at the results more specifically, the Intel product line showed a 17% increase in sales, the Intel Foundry division showed a decline of 10%, and other structures, including Altera and Mobileye, showed a 46% decline in revenue. By the way, the revenue of the client division Client Computing Group grew the most. 

The company notes that it expects the launch of the Intel 18A process technology in 2025. The company already has five customers for such products.
