Recently, Honkai Star Rail insiders talked about new mechanics from the major update 2.0. As it turned out, these gacha mechanics really resemble a casino (previously they only gave a description and sounded characteristic names).
Insider Hiro420 published a couple of videos: you can see a “one-armed bandit” (slot -machine), as well as something like a roulette with prizes and a machine with “balls”.
As far as we know, these gacha mechanics are tied to the exploration of a new planet. The population of Penaconia will give the player special tokens (tokens) that are used in these machines, some random rewards can be obtained.
