Avowed is getting closer. Obsidian Entertainment's new game uses modern technology
Avowed is expected to be released in 2024. Recently there was another reason to remember about the new project of Obsidian Entertainment.
The fact is that Windows Central editor Jez Corden shared information about Avowed on the social network:
“Was it already known that Avowed has moved to Unreal Engine 5.3 with the support of [engineers] Xbox/The Coalition? (It is).”
Gamers have concerns that Avowed may be postponed due to a change in the engine. Judging by Jez's information, there are no plans for a postponement and the game will be released in the fall.
