Rockstar is likely planning to add ray tracing to the game, as it is looking for an employee familiar with this technology.
The vacancy appeared on the LinkedIn portal. The company expects the Senior Graphics Programmer to have experience with DXR or NVR interfaces that will enable real-time ray tracing.

It is worth noting that Rockstar Games employees are familiar with the technology. Ray tracing was added to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S version of Grand Theft Auto V.
