Grand Theft Auto style mechanics may appear in Fortnite. Dataminers found stolen cars

Fortnite is full of different features. Epic Games is actively developing the game and data miners have found new clues indicating possible new content

Dataminers continue to explore Fortnite in search of secrets. This time around, attention has been drawn to a possible new Grand Theft Auto-style mechanic.

Car theft in Fortnite is supposed to work something like this: the player needs “connect” to the car and press the button to start the hijacking (it can be canceled, the hijacking will recharge for a while).

The hijacking may fail if the car:

• Goes too fast
• Takes a sharp turn
• Crashes (crashes into something)

It’s not entirely clear when Fortnite can add car theft (no mechanical announcements yet).
