It looks nothing like a typical camper, either outside or inside
The BAW company, the manufacturer of the legendary BJ212 SUV, built on the basis of the Soviet UAZ, has certified an atypical motorhome in China. Moreover, not only the design, but also the layout is atypical for BAW Vala.
The Vala has a cartoonish appearance due to its round headlights and flat front end. It looks funny, but such a car may be unsafe for pedestrians in the event of a collision with a person. However, there is no data on Vala crash tests.
The camper is built on the basis of the E-M7 minivan and is driven by a single electric motor with a power of 122 hp. This is frankly small for a car with dimensions of 5240 x 1900 x 2075 mm.
The interior layout familiar to campers is not here. The rear row seats move on long runners, and in front or behind them you can place a movable box with a sink and storage space. On the roof — lifting structure and berth, on the right side of the car there is a retractable awning awning.
