A year ago, Chinese companies followed Tesla, which began to aggressively lower prices for its cars, after which the so-called price war began in the industry.
Now Chery has decided to use a new way to increase sales of their cars: the company offers substantial compensation for trade-in of old cars.
There are no restrictions on older cars based on condition, mileage or age, and new car buyers can get a discount of up to $7,000. The offer is currently only valid in China until May 31 this year.
Chery Fengyun, Tiggo, Arrizo and Discovery series are participating in the promotion, including Fengyun A8, Tiggo 9, Tiggo 8 Pro Champion Edition, Arrizo 8 High-Energy Edition, Discovery 06 and other models.
