The brand new Toyota Camry has already been presented in China and the USA, and now it’s Europe’s turn. If in China there are options with a 2.0-liter gasoline engine and a hybrid based on a 2.5-liter engine, then in Europe the new Camry – exclusively hybrid.
Moreover, the hybrid does not indulge in a variety of design: there will be no alternative honeycomb radiator grille, and there will be no bright inserts in the cabin. Toyota will also save on the dashboard – the base will have a 7-inch screen, which does not particularly correspond to the status of a business sedan. However, the base also includes a media system with a 12.3-inch screen, wireless charging for a smartphone, adaptive cruise control and a number of driver assistance systems as part of the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0.

There will be no all-wheel drive in Europe, and the power of the power plant, which includes, in addition to a 2.5-liter engine, two electric motors and an e-CVT, will be 231 hp. Acceleration to 100 km/h will take 7.9 s.
The current Toyota Camry (XV70) in Europe costs from 44 thousand euros, the new model will be more expensive. For comparison, the estimated price in the US – from 30 thousand dollars, and in China the minimum cost is 25.6 thousand dollars. Obviously, in Europe the new Camry at this price will not be in great demand.
