The capital's dealer sells Solaris HC (Hyundai Creta) for 3.2 million rubles instead of 2.5 million price value
Solaris cars have been on sale in Russia for several months now, and the Autonews resource undertook to find out how things are going with the purchase of a Russian-made ex-Hyundai now. It turned out that cars are still in short supply, and prices do not always correspond to recommended retail prices.
For example, in one large Moscow dealership two Solaris HS (Hyundai Solaris) were found in the basic Active Plus versions with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine producing 123 hp. A sedan with a manual transmission costs 2.013 million rubles (according to the official price list), but there is a nuance: for «extras» in the form of anti-corrosion treatment, crankcase and radiator protection, alarm system and bumper mesh you need to pay 147 thousand rubles. A similar car with an automatic transmission is sold for 2.019 million rubles, and here for «extras» no need to pay extra.
«Every day — flurry of calls. The cars are dismantled instantly. For example, the Solaris HC crossovers, or the Hyundai Creta, have already ended. Therefore, we are waiting for new deliveries. Some of our cars are in warehouses, some we don’t even have time to put in the showroom», — told the seller of this salon.
And the seller of another salon suggested sticking Kia nameplates on the Solaris KRX (Kia Rio): the logo is only on the steering wheel, there were no nameplates on the radiator grille or on the back. «If the issue is fundamental for you, Kia nameplates can be glued on, this is not a problem. As you can see, these cars are no different at all. The demand for models is very high. This car is in the basic Comfort configuration, and it has already found a client», — reported the salon manager.
Solaris KRX in the Luxe configuration is sold for 2.2 million rubles, but for «extras» will have to pay extra.
In another showroom in the east of Moscow, the Solaris HC (Hyundai Creta) is offered in the Classic configuration for 3.2 million rubles — despite the fact that the price of such a machine is 2.5 million rubles. True, the crossover is additionally equipped with the Winter and Light packages, but their price is certainly not 700 thousand rubles, by which the car has increased in price. The significant surcharge is explained by the “special dealer package”, which includes a mesh in the bumper, additional sound insulation, crankcase protection, tinting and floor mats. It’s interesting that even for that kind of money, cars are being sold out: on a particular example there was a “sold” sign.
According to Autonews, Solaris HS (Hyundai Solaris) in «sports» Sportline modifications are in relatively little demand, but this does not stop dealers from raising prices: one salon sells a car for 2.492 million rubles, although the recommended retail price — 2.081 million rubles. The same seller noted that such cars with a manual transmission are readily snapped up by taxi companies.
