It will replace H100
Nvidia will show off its future AI accelerator next week, which will make the current flagship H100 a last-generation solution.
We are talking about the Blackwell generation B100 accelerator. It should be shown at the GTC conference, which starts on March 18.
It is still unclear what format Nvidia will show the B100 in. It is quite possible that we are talking about a full-fledged announcement, since both the A100 and H100 were presented at GTC in the first half of the year.
Of course, a lot of time will pass from the moment of announcement to the start of deliveries, since in the case of accelerators they are announced significantly in advance, unlike game adapters.
The B100 is expected to be based on a GPU, which will be manufactured using the 3 nm process technology, which allows Nvidia to significantly increase both performance and energy efficiency.
