Atlus invites owners of extended and premium editions worth $100 and $200 to purchase it in addition
To the sincere surprise of many Persona fans, Atlus has decided to sell the Episode Aigis epilogue for the Persona 3 Reload not just separately, but exclusively as part of a season pass for $35. However, the season pass is not included in the bonuses that owners of the premium edition for $100 and those who bought the collector's edition of the game for $200 received.
Atlus in an interview with a Japanese magazine Famitsu explained this decision by saying that initially the team did not plan to make an epilogue at all, since it was sorely lacking people on the team, but in the end they changed their decision after seeing the community’s interest in the remake. In the end, no one understood why Episode Aigis is only sold as part of the $35 season pass and is not available separately.
