The franchise returns to the medieval era

A new Doom premiered at the Xbox Games Showcase 2024 event: a game called Doom: The Dark Ages will be released in 2025 directly on PC, Xbox Series S and Series X (including Game Pass).

Events in this part of the game will take place in the medieval era, the gameplay can be assessed in the trailer.

Doom: The Dark Ages will have a lot of blood in the spirit of the franchise, players will be able to fly on a dragon. The game was developed by id Software using new idTech technology.
