Or CF card
SCSI interface — This is far from something that the average user encounters all the time, at least on the pages of news resources. However, the interface is alive. Solid State Disks Ltd (SSDL) even released a device called SCSIFlash-Fast, which allows you to connect any modern drive to SCSI.
In fact, this is what is sometimes called a disc pocket. In this case we are talking about the 3.5-inch form factor. There are two modifications with different types of SCIS connectors: 68-pin and 80-pin. Only CF cards or M.2 SSDs can be installed inside the device. True, the data transfer speed will in any case be limited to 80 MB/s. But in addition there is its own Ethernet port, although it is optional.
SSDL says that in addition to enthusiasts who, for one reason or another, use old PCs with such an interface, the new product may be useful in aerospace, defense, industrial, medical, telecommunications and other industries that still use systems that were developed decades ago.
