Smartphones are turning into “bricks”

Yesterday the distribution of One UI 6.1 firmware for Samsung smartphones of the Galaxy S22 line began, and today this process has been paused. After installing the long-awaited update with Galaxy AI functions, some users received a “brick” instead of a smartphone.

After installing One UI 6.1, smartphones do not boot, and some simply do not unlock. What is the problem — not yet known. However, given that users are reporting it on the official forum, Samsung should already be aware. It is important to note that the software is currently only distributed in South Korea, so in other countries users may not encounter these problems at all.
