The idea of crossing the popular Deep Rock Galactic with the indie hit Vampire Survivors turned out to be very successful
Deep Rock Galactic Survivor recently launched on Steam. The developer was Funday Games, and the publisher of the new product was the authors of the original shooter DRG (they launched the publishing label Ghost Ship Publishing).
Deep Rock Galactic Survivor is another game in the spirit of the acclaimed Vampire Survivors. As it turned out, users on Steam really liked the single-player shooter with survival elements in a similar setting. Within a few days, the project received about 5 thousand reviews, of which more than 80% were positive.
Deep Rock Galactic Survivor is still in early access on Steam. Now the developers assume that it will last from 6 to 12 months (the timing may change during the work process).
So far, the authors of Deep Rock Galactic Survivor offer 4 playable characters, 40 types of weapons, 20 types of enemies, 3 biomes, as well as a deep progression system with bonuses, artifacts and improvements.
Deep Rock Galactic Survivor's online peak has almost reached 48 thousand, while the original co-op shooter Deep Rock Galactic has 46,687.
