Cars will last for 1-2 months
Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes about the high demand for the Lada Granta with an automatic transmission from the Japanese company Jatco. with reference to dealers.
Commercial Director of a network of dealership centers «Pragmatics» Alexander Shaprinsky reported that customers who previously used cars with such a gearbox are already calling dealerships and asking to reserve new Granta. He added that due to high demand, the cars should be sold out in 1-2 months.
«The main competitors of the Lada Granta with automatic transmission are the Changan Alsvin sedans (from 1 million 750 thousand rubles) and Solaris HS (from 2 million 064 thousand 900 rubles). Advantages: competitive RRP (from 1 million 176 thousand 900 rubles), quality and durability of the gearbox, cost of maintenance, availability of spare parts, — noted Alexander Shaprinsky.
Evgeniy Zhitnukhin, head of the dealership department of the Fresh automobile marketplace, believes that this version will compete primarily with the Lada Vesta NG, which is equipped with a Chinese CVT.
«What service centers will do if it is necessary to replace the gearbox is unclear, because official supplies of this type of component to Russia have been stopped. Most likely, some of the "boxes" left at AvtoVAZ Jatco will be handed over to dealers for subsequent repair and maintenance of Lada Granta with "automatic"», — added Evgeny Zhitnukhin.
Recall that AvtoVAZ plans to produce about 5 thousand of these cars in total.
