According to the studio's announcement, the team will focus on creating cinematic scenes. They will combine motion capture, best-in-class animation and other presentation techniques to create something truly amazing.
“…highly interactive cinematic scenes using animation and motion capture libraries, creating a unique fusion of film and game.”
In addition, the announcement hints at a different look for staged scenes. If in the original game they were in first person, then in the expansion they can be performed in third person, which will allow a new look at immersion in the game.
But CDPR claims that the issue of camera perspective has not yet been resolved. While Cyberpunk 2077 already looks great, it was designed for a device that is now over a decade old.
The ad states that CDPR is looking for a veteran with extensive experience, hinting that the team is going to give it their all.
CDPR has similar huge ambitions for The Witcher 4. For the sequel, the team wants to create another genre-defining RPG.
