The engines have not changed – both cars are offered with 150-horsepower engines and 6-speed automatic transmissions
Less than two weeks after the updated Jetta VS5 and VS7 crossovers went into production in China, pre-orders for these cars began to be accepted. The cost of the younger model — from 12.2 to 16.9 thousand dollars, senior — from 15 to 19.7 thousand dollars.
The main innovation — redesigned front part: the cars received a larger radiator grille, new bumpers and plastic sidewall trims. Due to the contrasting black front part, the crossovers began to look stricter.
In terms of equipment, there are no innovations: semi-digital instrument panel, media system with a large screen, full power accessories, heated front seats and electrically adjustable driver's seat, panoramic roof, multifunction steering wheel. The climate system is controlled by regular keys under the central display.
The engines remained the same. More precisely, there is only one engine: a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine with 150 hp. It is combined with a manual transmission or a 6-speed «automatic».
