Russians are more willing to buy Chinese crossovers than Russian SUVs
«Autostat» published a ranking of the most popular crossovers and SUVs among Russians based on May sales results. Haval Jolion took first place: 6,354 cars were sold in May — growth compared to May last year by 64.4%.
In second place was Chery Tiggo 7 PRO Max — 5,084 cars were sold last month, an increase of 63.3% year on year. Third place in sales goes to Chery Tiggo 4 PRO (4256 cars, an increase of 2.2 times).
Last year, Lada Niva was consistently in the top 3, but now the preferences of Russians have changed: the best of the Nivas — Niva Travel — in fourth place. 4,203 cars were sold last month. Niva Legend closes the top 5 (3676 cars, sales growth by 37%).
The second half of the top 10 looks like this: Belgee X50 (3598 units), Changan CS55 Plus (3525 units, 8 times sales growth), OMODA C5 (3487 units, 40.8% increase), Geely Monjaro (2933 units, an increase of 4.2 times) and Haval M6 (2688 units).
