The Polish company sincerely believes that in the next few years it will only become bigger and much stronger
In an interview with the Polish publication Parkiet, the head of CD Projekt Red Adam Kiciński commented on rumors according to which the company allegedly wants to be bought.
“These are just rumors. We have always had a clear position, supported by the norms included in the charter [restrictions to prevent a hostile takeover – editor's note]. We are not interested in becoming part of any larger organization. We have worked our entire lives to get to where we are today, and we believe that in a few years we will be even bigger and stronger. We have ambitious plans and we are passionate about what we do. We value independence.”.
CDPR is currently working on The Witcher 4, Cyberpunk 2, and a new IP project. The company is also leading the development of a remake of the original The Witcher.
