A fierce battle against cheaters continues on the fields of Escape from Tarkov. Some people act very arrogantly
Escape from Tarkov fan nickname Costello18 became the victim of a daring robbery. The cheater was literally stealing things in front of his eyes.
He turned around, but there was no one behind him. It seems that this is not about some kind of “teleportation” in the usual sense, but about a cunning scheme with a change in coordinates.

One of the members of the Escape from Tarkov community studied the cheaters forum and found out that such tricks with coordinates can lead to an explosion of the intruder on the “Forest” map (Woods).
Cheaters work approximately like this: they change the coordinates of the item and their own to NAN (Not a number), this presumably bypasses the distance check (from the player to the loot), and then returns the coordinates to the original ones, instantly moving the loot to their inventory. It has been suggested that players falling through the ground in some matches is caused precisely by the actions of cheaters who edit coordinates.
The explosive effect on the Woods map is associated with 2 things. With the presence of a body outside the playing area, it is assumed that at the moment the cheat is activated, players trigger something and are “overtaken by karma.” There is also a check of coordinates, if the system interprets them as going beyond the map – an explosion.
