Another problem with the long-suffering Boeing 737 Max

Boeing has notified the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) that a bolt in the rudder control system may have become loose on new Boeing 737 Max aircraft. The company notified not only the FAA, but also the airlines operating the Boeing 737 Max – they will need to check the bolt or look for the nut.

Interestingly, the defect was first reported by an unnamed airline: during routine maintenance, technicians discovered a bolt with a missing nut. Boeing itself later inspected its planes and found a loose nut in one of them.

Against this news, Boeing shares fell by about 1.6%. However, the growth of the company’s securities for 2023 was still 32%.

Recall that just a couple of months ago the Boeing 737 Max was found to have problems with its pressure frame.
