The release date for the console version of Baldur's Gate 3 for Microsoft remains a mystery, but the developers are revealing new details. It is known how many discs will be included in the boxed release.
Larian Studios recently announced that the release date for Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox will be announced on December 7, 2023 at The Game Awards. A physical edition of the game was also announced, which the publishing director of Larian Studios spoke about on his Twitter page.
“The three-disc boxed version for the Xbox console will come with Update #5 on disc, which is really good news. As you know, these things take a little time to develop. We are working on exactly the same version for PlayStation 5.”
In other words, the physical edition of Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox will not only come on three discs, but will also include Update 5, which won't be available until a few days later.
