Baldur's Gate 3 received its first hotfix in 2024. Larian isn't done fixing the game yet

Baldur's Gate 3 is full of technical problems. 2024 begins with another batch of fixes for the game Larian

Another update has been released for Baldur's Gate 3. The developers presented the first hotfix in 2024.

Some changes to hotfix #16 for Baldur's Gate 3:

  • The cross-save feature will no longer sync saves with mods as they are not available to console players.
  • It is now possible to access certain quest-related items on site, even if they are currently in a chest at the camp or in the inventory of a companion waiting at the camp.
  • Fixed reset of the “Hide Helmet” option for companions after saving and loading.
  • Fixed visual a bug due to which some doors would briefly reappear after being destroyed.
  • Fixed a number of critical bugs that led to crashes, including those related to fast loading.
  • We made changes to the balance and tweaked some gameplay aspects, for example, an NPC located on the floor below should no longer “see” someone upstairs searching a corpse.
  • The scripts have also been fixed, now the transition to Act 3 should work correctly.
  • Game performance should no longer drop after switching between party members< /li>
