Mass production will start on May 15
The start of mass production of Lada Largus is officially scheduled for May 15, 2024, but for now AvtoVAZ is completing preparations for mass production, as described in the next video.
Press production localized 13 stamped components, mainly front parts. By the end of the year, it is planned to localize large and medium stamping parts – in total more than 60 positions. At the plastic production facility, work is actively underway to prepare for the production of front and rear bumpers, including their painting. The welding production is completely ready for the production of commercial bodies, all equipment is installed – including 13 robots on the automatic welding line.
Initially the cars will be produced in two colors – «glacial» and «platinum». Next, «panther» will be added to the color scheme. and «borneo».
While production is preparing for the release of the first commercial vehicles, pilot batches of vehicles are being produced. The stands on the dynamic test line are calibrated, the test track is prepared for operation.
The first commercial Izhevsk Lada Largus will be produced in the Classic configuration, these will be both passenger versions and vans, which will be equipped with both 8-valve and 16-valve engines. Next, the production of cars in the Comfort configuration will begin.
