AvtoVAZ denied stopping the production and shipment of Lada Vesta station wagons, as reported by the company’s press service at the request of Autonews.ru.
Previously in the Avtograd news community on «VKontakte» information has appeared that AvtoVAZ has resumed production of Lada Vesta station wagons «after a long break» and began shipping cars to dealerships. Allegedly, the production of cars was stopped in December 2023.
During the presentation of the updated Lada Vesta family with a CVT, AvtoVAZ identified the main competitors for the SW Cross all-terrain station wagon. As it turns out, the Russian auto giant intends to challenge popular crossovers from Chinese manufacturers.
According to AvtoVAZ forecasts, sales of the Lada Vesta family by the end of 2024 will exceed 100 thousand units.
