At AvtoVAZ they started talking about adaptive cruise control for the Lada Vesta: the car won’t get it yet, but it will be enriched with ESP and new winter options

AvtoVAZ shared plans for the further development of the Lada Vesta family of cars. According to the director of product programs and projects of the company Oleg Grunenkov, the long-awaited ESP system will appear on Vesta in August of this year. It was previously assumed that the option would be available in the first half of 2024. The production of stabilization systems will be carried out by the company «Itelma».

However, not all the expected options will appear on Vesta in the near future. Oleg Grunenkov clarified that adaptive cruise control will not yet be available for this model. At the same time, AvtoVAZ plans to expand the list of winter options to increase comfort in the cold season.

Head of the AvtoVAZ Marketing Department Anna Kurochkina shared forecasts for Lada Vesta sales volumes. By the end of 2024, it is expected that more than 100 thousand cars of this family will be sold, and about half will be station wagons. In addition, Anna Kurochkina announced the appearance of new colors in the Vesta range.

Recall that AvtoVAZ wants to sell up to 50 thousand Lada Vesta NG with a CVT per year. If prices rise this year, it will be only slightly. The AGR Automobile Plant confirmed that the starting batch of new Solaris, which were shipped to dealership centers in Moscow and St. Petersburg, includes only 150 cars.

In addition, AvtoVAZ revealed all the secrets of the new continuously variable transmission for the Lada Vesta NG.
