According to online reports, layoffs at Activision Blizzard will take place in several locations in California.

At the end of January, Microsoft announced the layoff of 1,900 employees out of 22,000 at Activision Blizzard, Xbox Game Studios and ZeniMax Media.

Activision Blizzard will lay off 899 employees in various locations in California on March 30, 2024. These layoffs will be part of a previously announced reduction of 1,900 jobs and have been formally reported to the State of California as required by California's WARN (Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification) program.
