The Tagansky District Court of Moscow fined Apple for refusing to remove the book «Mein Kampf» from the Apple Books e-book reading application. («My Struggle») by Adolf Hitler. The book describes the views and ideology of Hitler, and also includes his autobiography; in Russia it has been included in the list of extremist materials since 2010 and is prohibited for distribution.

The judge announced the decision to find Apple Distribution International guilty of an offense under Part 2 of Art. 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (failure by the owner of the site to delete information if the obligation to delete such information is provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation), and punish her with a fine in the amount of 800 thousand rubles.
