The Russian PlaySpace is being developed at the Don State Technical University, but the Chinese developed identical computers 8 years ago
We have already written about the development of a «Russian analogue of PlayStation»: a device based on the ancient SoC Intel Atom X5 with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory is planned to be sold for 47 thousand rubles. However, devices with identical characteristics have been on the market for a long time, and they are much cheaper.
For example, a mini-PC computer with the same Intel Atom X5, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory on Ozon can be bought for 8 thousand rubles, and Depo Xstick devices, which connects directly to the HDMI port of a TV or monitor, and is completely cheaper than 6 thousand rubles.
In China, there are practically no mini-PCs based on such ancient components left, but on AliExpress you can buy much more «cool» computer on SoC Intel Celeron J4125 with 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD for 13 thousand rubles.
