A decommissioned 26-year-old Volga was sold for almost 8,000,000 rubles, although the bidding started at 61,000 rubles.

As reported by the Kras Mash Telegram channel, the car was bought at such a price not at all because of its condition. The photo shows that the car has lost its former gloss over a quarter of a century.

The main reason for such a price was the license plate K 001 KK 24. As Quto writes, after the purchase, this number appeared on several specialized sites, where they are asking 10 million rubles for it.

Another sign, E 555 EE 124, costs 5 million rubles. But the region code 24 is considered more «solid» than 124.
