In 2023, the national carrier achieved a figure of 5.7 thousand flight hours per incident

Aeroflot has prepared a report on flight safety in the airline in 2023. It turned out that the security level was 99.973%, and this is even higher than planned.

The company noted that the number of incidents in 2023 remained at the average level for previous years, but at the same time, flight hours increased significantly: by 21.5% compared to 2022 and by 13.1% compared to 2021 of the year. Thus, the average flight time per incident has improved: if in 2021 it was 4.2 thousand hours, and in 2022 – 5.1 thousand hours, then in 2023 it was already 5.7 thousand hours.

This year, the national carrier will continue to work to maintain a high level of flight safety. As one of the measures: the company will continue to implement the flight safety management system.
