Invincible is one of Amazon Prime Video's most popular animated series and may soon become a video game.

Invincible is an animated series for adults, an adaptation of the comics of the same name by Robert Kirkman. New episodes of the series' second season were recently released on Amazon Prime, a third season is in development, and the fourth and fifth seasons have already been ordered. But, in addition to this, a video game is planned.

The brand already has one product on Steam, but it is a small game. Skybound Entertainment has stated that it wants Invincible to be a big-budget game with long-term development.

At the moment, all that is known is that it is a violent action game, including modes designed for local gameplay. To do this, Skybound brought together 30 developers from Epic Games, Activision and Electronic Arts. The team is led by Chris Paulson, who worked on Diablo IV, and Patrick Gilmore, who previously worked at Amazon Games on New World.

Skybound budgeted $18 million for production. But this is not enough to make a AAA game. For this purpose, a crowdfunding collection has been launched on the Republic platform. Skybound wants to receive another 5 million by the end of April. At the time of publication of the note, 449 thousand dollars had been collected.
