A shield and a cannon from The Dark Ages that shoots crushed skulls were added to the original DOOM

As part of the Xbox Games Showcase 2024, a new DOOM was announced, subtitled The Dark Ages

The craftsman Craneo was so inspired by the debut trailer of DOOM: The Dark Ages that he decided to add not only a shield to the original DOOM, but also a cannon that uses the crushed skulls of enemies as ammunition. 

Both modifications can be downloaded from the links: for the shield and for the gun.

DOOM: The Dark Ages was announced as part of the Xbox Games Showcase 2024 broadcast. The game is being developed by id Software for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and its release will take place in 2025. More exact dates are still unknown.
