Infiniti — luxury brand Nissan — published new teasers of the new generation Infiniti QX80 frame SUV. At the same time, the official premiere date was announced — 20th of March. And the first public display of the car will take place on March 29 at the New York Auto Show.
In the meantime, the company has published new teasers. The pictures show a completely new design of the front end with narrow head optics and an illuminated logo in the center of the massive radiator grille.
The interior will change as radically as the exterior: everything will be new, including chairs with brown leather, heating, ventilation and massage. It is already known that the SUV will receive a top-end Klipsch audio system with 24 speakers and an 8-inch subwoofer.
The main innovation in terms of technology — replacement of the canonical naturally aspirated 5.6-liter V8 engine with a new V6 unit with two turbines. The new engine will be more powerful — it will produce 450 hp. The gearbox will also change: in place of a 7-speed automatic transmission. will take a 9-speed. There is also an adaptive air suspension with a function to automatically reduce ground clearance when parking.
