An elderly man from Lipetsk was detained for hacking Sony PlayStation 3 game consoles; the pensioner was engaged in «hacking» as a part-time job. This was reported by the portal Mash.

65-year-old retired hacker named Arkady used a special program to provide services for hacking set-top boxes so that users could install unlicensed products. 

It didn’t end very well for him – «burglar» The cyber police identified it, conducted a search and seized the equipment. A criminal case was opened against Arkady for causing damage to Sony Interactive Entertainment and he was given a written undertaking not to leave the place. Now the pensioner faces a fine of 200 thousand rubles, and in the worst case, imprisonment for up to two years.
