But sales of the new Geely Okavango have not yet begun
Last year, the Geely Okavango crossover was sold in Belarus, but that model was imported from China. As the local resource Tochka.by writes, now Okavango (and not last year’s, but the latest — updated) is produced in Belarus at the local enterprise «BelGee» near Minsk.
The car has not yet gone on sale, but there has already been an announcement about the launch of sales soon. It is still unknown how much the car will be valued at, but based on the example of the cost of other cars in the neighboring country, we can assume that the Belarusian Okavango will be slightly cheaper than the Russian one. But over time it should go on sale in Russia and replace the Chinese-made Okavango.
The Belarusian Okavango will receive a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine with 218 hp. and a media system with a 14.6-inch diagonal screen. Apparently, there will be no all-wheel drive.
