The studio Akatsuki Games is responsible for the development of the game adaptation of Kaijuu 8-gou, among the announced platforms are PC (Steam), as well as smartphones (AppStore | iOS and Google Play | Android). The developers have not yet provided details about the gameplay.
The manga Kaijuu 8-gou (or “Kaiju number eight”) has been in the news lately – an anime adaptation was presented in 2024 , which attracted quite a lot of attention.
In the world of this work, Japan is terrorized by huge “kaiju” monsters, which people eventually learned to fight. The protagonist, a janitor, who dreamed of joining the ranks of elite protective operatives, was never able to get into the squad and was already resigned to his fate, but due to a number of “circumstances,” he gets the opportunity to become a “humanoid kaiju” and sets off on an adventure.
