LGA4677
The Intel Xeon W9-3595X processor, which belongs to the HEDT category, has appeared on the Internet.
This CPU is a direct relative of the new Xeon Scalable models. Its configuration includes 60 cores and 112 MB of L3 cache, and the frequency reaches 4.6 GHz.
The new product is LGA4677, that is, it is compatible with existing motherboards. Compared to the Xeon W9-3495X, the new product has more cores and more second- and third-level cache. There are results in Geekbench, but they are low, which is clearly due to the participation in the test of an early sample, so we can’t talk about performance yet.
Xeon W9-3595X will compete with the new Ryzen Threadripper 7000, but it is not yet clear which one, since we do not know the prices yet. In any case, AMD has a 96-core model in its lineup, which the new Xeon will be far from matching.
