ASRock introduced the DeskMate X600 mini-computer in China. The device in its basic version is a kit for self-assembly — This one costs only $195. The peculiarity is that the Mini-ITX motherboard located inside has a PCIe 4.0×16 slot, that is, you can connect almost any discrete video card. And this already greatly expands the possibilities of using DeskMate X600.
The device can also be purchased as a pre-configured system — with a Ryzen 7 8700G processor, 16 GB of DDR5 RAM, a 1 TB SSD and a Wi-Fi 6E adapter, it costs $635.
The motherboard has four (!) slots for RAM modules, maximum RAM — 192 GB. There is one SATA connector and two M.2 (PCIe Gen 5 x4 and PCIe Gen4 x4).
On the front panel of the computer — two USB 2.0, two USB 3.2 and one USB-C. On the back panel — two USB 3.2, two USB 2.0, two DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI 2.1 and a 2.5 Gbps network port. Included, in addition to the cable for connecting the video card, — low profile cooler.
